Membership at The Woods United Methodist Church is open to all who have been baptized and have professed their faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that faithful membership in the local church is important to personal and communal spiritual growth. People who have been previously baptized and made their public profession join The Woods by answering one key question: Will you support the The Woods United Methodist Church with your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness? When a person becomes a professing member with The Woods, he or she professes a faith in God, in Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They publicly claim their faith and their desire to live as a follower of Jesus. Because we believe in the unity of all of Christ's Church (regardless of denomination) we recognize all Christian baptisms and baptized persons are never asked to be rebaptized at The Woods. If you would like to discuss membership, baptism, or any other question, always feel free to contact Pastor Lesta Anderson.
