Calling All Children!

Here at the Woods we offer Children’s Church during our 11:00 a.m. worship service. The children, ages 3 years and up, initially go into the Sanctuary with their families. They will then be dismissed from the sanctuary, and the adult workers will escort the children to the Open Door classroom #218 B. The children may be picked up in that room at the conclusion of the worship service.

During Children’s Church we offer singing, a Bible lesson, collection of offering, a craft that relates to the lesson, activities, and a light snack. There will be two Ministry Safe adults with the children at all times. On the first Sunday of each month we will also serve communion to the children.

Jellybean PrayerA Jellybean Prayer

Black is for our sin –
the wrong things we have done.
Red is for Jesus blood –
He shed for everyone.
White is for a clean heart –
when in Jesus we believe.
Gold is for the streets in Heaven –
promised when Jesus we receive.
Green is for growing; hide
His Word in your heart.
Put your trust in Jesus –
give your life a brand new start!
