Welcome Letter from the Pastor

Pastor Marie MitchellGreetings, my brothers and sisters in Christ! We are happy that you have taken your valuable time to visit our website and seek to learn more information about our church. We are The Woods United Methodist Church, and we take seriously our call from Christ to love God and neighbor and to share and be the good news of God’s amazing grace. We are a growing church family who values people and diversity. If you are seeking to grow in your faith and in relationship with Jesus Christ, we invite you to come and begin your faith journey with us. We offer two different worship experiences, Wednesday Bible Studies for adults and youth, great fellowship, and ample ministries where you can define and grow in the gifts and graces God has blessed you with. Our church is also strong in mission and outreach. We not only work hard at loving each other in this church, but truly know the importance of living our witness and being a blessing to those in need in our community and beyond.

Jesus said, “I came that you might have life and have that life more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Our Lord calls us not to a set of rigid rules and regulations, but to a relationship with him. It is knowing him that our lives are transformed. Come and begin the greatest adventure of your life!

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or concerns.

Christ’s able servant,

Pastor Marie Mitchell

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8
